Seldom Blue is Often Pink

Sometimes all a girl needs is a VW van with an FM radio.

Can you believe a French automobile engineer named Louis Réard invented the bikini? He "engineered" it out of 30 inches of cloth in 1946, to expose the navel (gasp). Then he named it after the Bikini Atoll, Micronesia, where nuclear testing was about to take place. Awwww, perverse!

Even so, there's something kool about the latest giftie from Seldom Blue. They have placed the above pictured pink bandeau-style bikini in their Who's That Girl Hunt prize (WTGH #3).

The bikini bottoms with prim bows have an elegant, v-shaped low waistline, while the strapless bandeau top with a peek-a-boo "O" in front would not be out of place with a classic sarong. And it looks like the combination contains more than 30 inches of virtual cloth because it's not a string bikini. So there, Louis Réard!

The bikini is paired with +9's Summer Crocodile Sandals with Rainbow Nails -- a marketplace giftie. (Thanks, Alexandra, for pointing the way to +9!)
